Why Parkhall...?
Priority on plants
Whilst we stock the usual goods you would expect from a garden centre, fencing, compost and garden sundries, we actively specialise in trees and bamboo, rare and unusual plants, home grown bedding plants and more mature, specimen shrubs and conifers. We display trees and bamboo plants up to 6m tall for that more instant effect.
You will always get helpful friendly advice from knowledgeable staff often lacking at destination centres. We are keen to help you choose the right plants for your garden, not just push plants in season.
We are seen as a more traditional retail site, with a back to basics approach. We grow and sell healthy, strong and well priced stock that we want to survive in your garden.
We display a huge range of glazed and terracotta pots and containers, all shapes and sizes.

Potty about pots
We produce all our own bedding plants on site rather than buying them in as most larger retail outlets invariably do. This drastically reduces our retail prices, gives us greater control on the quality of stock and gives us great flexibility in the range we can provide. We produce a wide range of basket or trailing plants and six-pack bedding including Begonia, Busy Lizzie, Dahlia, Gazania, Geranium, Lobelia, Petunia, Salvia and Viola
Our single pot plants include Ajuga, Angelmist, Artemesia, Begonia, Centradenia, Fuchsia, Geranium, Helichrysum, Heliotrope, Impatiens, Ipomoea, Lamium, Lysimachia, Osteospermum, Oxalis, Petunia, Scopia, Snapdragon and Torenia to name but a few. We make up hundreds of hanging baskets each year, mainly of the rattan type with top-only planting to show off the many styles of basket in straw, grass, reed, water hyacinth, rope and fern construction. We also grow Autumn Pansies and Viola, Ajuga and many other hardy bedding plants from September
We also grow many starter vegetable plants in the Spring for grow your own plants
