Why Parkhall...?
Priority on plants
Whilst we stock the usual goods you would expect from a garden centre, fencing, compost and garden sundries, we actively specialise in trees and bamboo, rare and unusual plants, home grown bedding plants and more mature, specimen shrubs and conifers. We display trees and bamboo plants up to 6m tall for that more instant effect.
You will always get helpful friendly advice from knowledgeable staff often lacking at destination centres. We are keen to help you choose the right plants for your garden, not just push plants in season.
We are seen as a more traditional retail site, with a back to basics approach. We grow and sell healthy, strong and well priced stock that we want to survive in your garden.
We display a huge range of glazed and terracotta pots and containers, all shapes and sizes.

Proud to be different
Potty about pots
Parkhall Garden Centre is one of a very few remaining independantly run retail sites in Cambridgeshire. Set in a rural location on the outskirts of Somersham, we pride our selves on our extensive variety of material and our open, relaxed atmosphere. We have knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand to give expert advice on all aspects of plant care and management.
Although a little tucked away, we are incredibly easy to find, once in Somersham we are signposted at the bandstand on the crossroads, exactly one mile along Parkhall Road.
Because we grow much of our own stock we have an inherent passion for plants, perhaps not seen at many modern 'supermarket-type' retail outlets. Many first time visitors are genuinely amazed at the sheer volume and variety of stock we hold year-round. Indeed, we display what is probably the largest selection of trees and bamboo plants in Cambridgeshire.
We stock what is also probably the largest selection of glazed and terracotta pots and containers in Cambridgeshire, one of the widest ranges of bagged aggregates and certainly the most extensive selection of hardy bamboo plants.
